Translucent Films

Translucent Films are also part of the 3M Scotchcal™ range of films and are available in a wide range of stock colours. Translucent films are widely used for backlit signage but can also be used on glass for that special effect. Opaque Films

Probably the largest range of Scotchcal™ films belongs to the Opaque range of colours. Like the Dusted and Frosted films and the Translucent films they are excellent for Digital and Screen printing and cutting into patterns and shapes. Any colour you can find in the Pantone Matching System (PMS) handbook can be replicated by screen printing. Unfortunately at this time digital has a narrower colour gamut and is not capable of rendering all colours as depicted in the PMS range.

Reflective Films

Reflective films are most often used in areas where safety is a key issue. There are reflective films which have different reflectivity ratings for labels through to very high visibility signs such as highway signs. They add yet another dimension the diverse range of options.
